For two decades, the iconic feminist, musician and producer Peaches has changed as well as gilded the world with his boundless electroclash. And it was with the now classic debut ‘The Teaches of Peaches’ (2002) that it all began. An album that introduced the world to the filthy, explosive character Peaches and catapulted her to international fame with songs such as ‘Fuck The Pain Away’ and ‘AA XXX’. Today, sexually explicit lyrics by female artists are not uncommon, much thanks to Peaches’ groundbreaking art.
Since its debut, the Canadian Berlin resident, born Merrill Nisker, has released 3 more acclaimed albums and collaborated with from Iggy Pop, Feist, Kim Gordon, Yoko Ono to Daft Punk and in 2021 the smoky hot single ‘Pussy Mask’ was released – a humorous and unexpected story about body fluids and the Covid-related fear of drip infection.
