The Stranglers will visit Sweden for the last time in the autumn of 2022 with a tribute concert in memory of the late Dave Greenfield.
The legendary punk band The Stranglers resume their 2020 tour in memory of Dave Greenfield who tragically died of Covid-19. The band wants to end what started before the pandemic broke out and has confirmed that this will be their last tour. They promise to cover songs from their extensive catalog that spans over 45 years. Expect hits like Peaches, No More Heroes and Walk On By as well as Always The Sun, Strange Little Girl and Golden Brown.
The group was formed in the mid-1970s as Guildford Stranglers, but they soon lost Guildford where they were formed from the name. Since then, they have received 23 Top-40 UK singles, recorded 17 Top-40 albums and are one of the longest surviving bands to have formed on the British punk scene.
Touring band members are Jean-Jacques Burnel, Jim Macaulay and Baz Warne.
On October 8, 2022, The Stranglers will arrive at Berns in Stockholm, tickets out now!
