The Swedish band Candlemass from 1984 is coming to Stockholm this fall for an epic anniversary show!

As pioneers of the epic doom metal genre, and with their debut album *Epicus Doomicus Metallicus* from 1986, the band has had a significant influence on the metal world. With their heavy riffs and melodic elements, they have inspired generations of metal fans and musicians.

Candlemass shows no signs of slowing down and continues to conquer stages worldwide, spreading their mighty hymns to devoted Candlemaniacs. With a Swedish Grammis win and a U.S. Grammy nomination in 2019, the band’s fire still burns with undiminished intensity.

In 2022, they released *Sweet Evil Sun*, and in 2025, they return with the highly anticipated EP *Black Star*, marking a new chapter in their saga of heavy, doom-laden greatness.
