Last year, the legendary duo KRUDER & DORFMEISTER came to Stockholm to deliver an exclusive DJ set at Slaktkyrkan. The show sold out and the demand for more was overwhelming. Now, friends Peter Kruder & Richard Dorfmeister return to Stockholm to perform their classic album “THE K&D SESSIONS” live at Berns on Sunday, October 5.

This year marks 25 years since the pioneers Kruder & Dorfmeister released the magical album “The K&D Sessions.” It is very rare that an album captures the atmosphere of an era, but “The K&D Sessions” truly did. In the late ’90s, there was hardly anyone who hadn’t heard one of the tracks from the album—it was played everywhere. Now, 25 years later, this iconic record is considered legendary, and so is the story behind it. It can be difficult to grasp how a mix or remix album could have such an enormous impact on and influence over a music movement, but this one did.

To celebrate this monumental milestone, they are now releasing an exclusive box set (6LP + 3CD) of “The K&D Sessions” with photos and stories about the album, while embarking on a world tour to perform it live. We now have the tremendous joy of presenting a date in Stockholm where you will be able to experience this very exclusive musical event as Kruder & Dorfmeister perform “The K&D Sessions” live. On Sunday, October 5, Berns will be filled with the sounds of their sample-based music, blending funk, jazz, hip hop, dub, reggae, ambient, and more into a sound that takes you back in time while also leaving a powerful musical impression in the present.
