Glenn Hughes, former bassist and singer of Deep Purple, known to millions as “The Voice Of Rock”. Inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame and frontman of the rock supergroup Black Country Communion is coming to Sweden in November to play only Deep Purple material with his “Glenn Hughes Performs Classic Deep Purple Live”.

The tour promises to be a dynamic, two-hour live tribute to Deep Purple — one of the most prominent and influential rock bands in music history.

Glenn’s band consists of Søren Andersen (guitar), Ash Sheehan (drums) and Bob Fridzema (keyboards).

Hughes spent key years of his career as the beloved bassist and singer of Deep Purple, appearing on the classic albums ‘Burn’, ‘Stormbringer’ and ‘Come Taste the Band’. Since 2017, he has performed various hits from the Deep Purple catalog, including “Burn”, “Stormbringer”, “Sail Away”, “Mitreated”, Highway Star” and “Smoke On The Water”, as part of his “Glenn Hughes Performs Classic Deep Purple Live” that drew full houses around the world.

In 2020, Deep Purple was inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame including guitarist Ritchie Blackmore, drummer Ian Paice, keyboardist Jon Lord and various singers and bassists – Rod Evans, Ian Gillan, Roger Glover, David Coverdale and Glenn Hughes.
